Split - adorable kitten seeking a new home

Split

Split is a playful, 5-month-old calico female, with a split personality that matches her face. As a kitten, she was encouraged to bite human hands in her play. Now that she is older, and capable of inflicting more damage, she has been signed over to the Mayhew.

Since being here, Split has been mixed with playmates displaying similar behavioural problems, and is gradually learning to inhibit her bite. When she is not overly excited, she is a gentle, affectionate girl, who is more than happy to comply with lap time and cuddles. Split would suit a sensible but lively family, who are prepared to continue to teach her what is and isn't acceptable behaviour, and to give her lots of love and stimulation. With the right guidance, this youngster will grow up to be the finest, sweetest family companion.

If you're interested in offering Split a perfect, loving, fully-committed, lifetime home or would like to know more about her, please visit The Mayhew Animal Home any Tuesday to Friday between 1pm - 3.30pm.
