Cruel and unwarranted Attack

I have just given my 4 dogs their once-a-week wet food. They are now terribly distraught.

As i gave them the command to begin eating, they were set upon by 7 of my cats and forced away from their food, all 10 loose cats then proceeded to eat my babies food. They left very little of the 8 cans i put down, and all the cats are now sprawled around the house - burping and farting.

My lickle puppies have had to wait another 6 minutes for me to open more cans and feed them again.

Bearing in mind that this morning the kitties had their usual 5 cans for brekkies, plus all their dry food refreshed

I wondered what on earth was going to be written in here!!

Can cats eat dog food without any problems then?

Made me laugh to read burping and farting! can just imagine 10 fat cats lazing about while the puppies look bemused and wonder where din dins went!

Re: Cruel and unwarranted Attack

The funniest had to be my big staff boy , who got slashed at but isntead of running away - say and watched his kitties eat his food with a very sad look on his face, then kept looking at me as if to say "but mum, it was mine"

And they say staffies and cats can't live together

CJ I don't think you can feed cats all the time on dog food as I believe they add something (can't remember what now) to cat food that they don't to dog food. But the occassional bit of dog food isn't going to hurt them

Good to hear that the dogs bowing down to the cats

They can't! The staffies would starve!

Cats can handle the occasional tin of dog-food, but they need the taurine (A.I.R.) in catfood to survive.
