Re: Veggies

Anyone have any thoughts on my spuds? Do they look ok, should they be sprouting so much hair?

Wonder what DM & DM (you know what I mean ) think - they seem to be the Top potatoe people here.

Re: Veggies

This is the DM who hasn't grown potatoes, just interested in them!! Have no idea what they're doing, but they look healthy...time will tell. The tomatoes look great, also the beans...are they scarlet runner? My 2 tomato plants (squirrel dug up one, GRR!) have a total of 5 fruits set; no more buds as we've had 10 out of 11 days of heavy, torrential rains!!! Lot of buildings downtown closed because of flooding, museums, Justice Dept. and (snigger) the Internal Revenue!!! The system is finally off the coast and the SUN was out today!!

Re: Veggies

The girls beans were called "really tall kids runner beans"

Then we have 2 wig-wams of our own. One is Scarlot Emperor & the other is Enorma.

Re: Veggies

Spuds look fine!
Nothing like ready yet. Make sure they have plenty of water (but don't drown them)
