Morning Glory

Just had to share this pic of my Morning Glory. It is the first time I've ever grown them and I'm amazed at their beautiful colour!
( thank you for the plants Moli)

Re: Morning Glory

What an amazing colour!!! It looks like a large flower . . . is it? Climber? Evergreen? Annual?

I have to admit to never having heard of these before

Re: Morning Glory

It is a climber, quite fast too........it is also known as Ipomea...

I'm pretty sure it is an annual, Yola.......the flowers don't last long but when one dies another one comes out.......

Re: Morning Glory

It is an annual climber; flowers about 3" across. That one looks like the old favorite, Heavenly Blue... EASY to grow from seed, may need pre-soaking overnight to speed germination. Not a fussy plant about soil, does like sun.
