I've got lots of ferns in my garden (although all in the ground and not tree ferns). I love it when they start unfurling their bright, fresh new tendrills . . . it's like watching something come back to life!!!

That close-up pic of the little curly leaf is beautiful, Luke!!!

Don't you have to bring it in in the Winter? I always thought tree ferns mostly thrived in tropical or semi-tropical climates, like cycads...?? I have a lovely cycad that summers on the patio & sulks indoors in Winter. Love the picture!!

The inlaws have them growing in Wales. think they just wrap them in straw/bubble-wrap/something for the winter.
