have you tried tesco balanced cat foods???

Just wndering if anybody has tried them. i didn't know until today that they do them. They look to be like the more preimuim style and they do:

senior
adult
kitten
light

and
hariball control.

limited flavours, but reasonable price. going to give them a go as getting tesco to deliver some stuff tonight. Wondering if anybody has tried them, or compared nutritional values of this and others like purina etc?

Re: have you tried tesco balanced cat foods???

I have tried the kitten one once. It was good - can't say I actually looked too much at the nutritional value ( ) because I bought it because I had run out of my usual. It was nice small bits which the boys enjoyed and seemed pretty good. No problems with being sick or smelly litter trays (had big problems with this with James Wellbeloved kitten food). I don't think I'd mind using it again but I would be interested to see what the nutritional value and ingredients are like (since I didn't bother when I got it!). Good value for a more 'premium' product.

Let us know how you get on with CJ, please.

Is it the dry or the wet? I've only ever tried Tesco's dry food, and Ninja will not even look at it.

Re: have you tried tesco balanced cat foods???

A friend bought me a few bits & pieces round for the rescue cats including some Tescos premium range kitten dry. Went down a treat!

Thought I'd go & compare nutritional value with some Purina Proplan & get a gold star for posting, but then remembered I used the last of the Tesco yesterday & threw the box away. So not sure on protein levels etc. but it seemed ok & Matildas babies said - yum yum! - But as we were running out they are now weaned onto the Purina which they also say is yum yum. In fact I think anything to them is yum yum

I know they do their "supermarket" brand, but was unaware of a better quality food from Tesco.
