We have a new addition arriving soon

As you all know sadly one of our dogs, Florrie the westie x dandie dinmonts, breeder, Mrs. Sprake, passed away last week. She had a considerable amounth of terriers, aswell as cats and everything else!!! Now sadly the family have decided it would be for the best too rehome the animals, as they all simply haven't got the time that Mrs. Sprake devoted to her pets. So we were offered one of the westies, Bobby, whom incidentally is Florrie's sire. Now we had a long hard think and many talks about how are circumstances are and such, after a while we decided that in actual fact we are able to give the time and such too another dog. So we decided that bobby will come and live with usarrangements have yet too be made, but he is definatley coming too join our madhouse.
It seems soppy i know, but it also felt like a duty to Mrs. Sprake to do this, if we were able we would have taken a few of her cats too but that isn't appropriate at this moment in time, so Bobby is coming to join his daughter and the rest of the crew. Hopefully introductions will be ok, he has been primarily a working dog for his life but also was a pet so he should be ok in the house and with other animals etc. Hes only 3 and a half years old so plenty of life left in the not so old dog!
Here's a picture of the wee chap taken Summer of last year.

He is gorgeous and has a fabulous temperament! Im very excited about him coming too live with us but im just a bit uhm....curious how a house full of female animals will take to a male the dogs and cats are all girlies!! But then again maybe a male won't upset the balance of the house too much.
Definatley think this is my good deed in the doggy world done for this year, well month i guess anyway

Aw Luke that is so wonderful of your family to take Bobby on. I'm sure Mrs Sprake is smiling down at you at this very moment. Bless you.

Bobby looks adorable - I hope he settles in quickly and happily

Sounds like your house is gonna be fun

How are you going to manage when it comes to 'season' time?
Has he or your girls been 'done'?
