Simple pleasures

What are the simple things in life that really put a spring in your step?
Thought I'd start this to remind us all that there's only one week of January left, and that you don't need a million pounds to be happy.

So, three simple things, everyone.

1. The smell of the sea
2. Baby chuckles
3. A good cup of coffee

a hot scented bath.
A cuddle form my kids when I'm feeling down
A good stew n dumplings

Hmmm hard to narrow it down to three but here goes,

1. Hearing a simple "Hello" from people I love.
2. A walk in whatever weather.
3. That Sunday morning feeling.

1. Birds singing on a sunny morning.
2. Smiles and cuddles from my grandchildren.
3. The sound of the sea.

1. The 1st daffodils opening in my garden
2. Domi putting his arms round my neck and saying 'love you Mummy'
3. Driving in an open-top car - preferably through woodland

the delicate, perfect snowdrops in my garden
a bright sunny day (even it is cold)
the feeling of satisfaction after spending several hours at our local animal sanctuary and cleaning out the catteries. On Sunday I took some of my daughters new left over carpet for them to snuggle on.

That's a toughie...
1) Hearing my kids playing and laughing
2) Snuggling up with a nice hot cup of cocoa and hubby on the sofa
3) Hearing the birds singing in the morning

Three things for me.

Waking up with my partner beside me and our two cats at the end of the bed

Driving my sports cars on a nice sunny day
Seeing my parents happy and healthy
