Did you know . . . ?

Just reading about the rehoming of Smudgely's Salem made me realise how lucky he is!

Black and tuxedo (black/white) cats are the most difficult to home? From my work with CP we ALWAYS have cabins full of black and tux cats.

I don't know why these particular colours don't attract homes as readily as others but it's a real shame

It is a shame. They always look sooo smart.
Same applies to black dogs too - look in any shelter and it's the big black dogs that are difficult to re-home.

I went to Battersea last year & the girls there were telling us some really intersting stuff, including that all the black dogs are hard to home

Black cats are lovely. I have one. And black and white ones are gorgeous too. Like the Felix cat!! Dont know why they are the hardest to find homes for.
