Well, Ria has been busy this afternoon. first baby born at 12.57pm and last baby born at 2.08pm. 5 babys in all. Not great weights for Meezer baby's, the two biggest weighing 85g the smallest weighing in at just 60g. Positive vibes please for these babies especially the little one.

Despite the fact that Ria looks like she is being a good mummy, motherhood has not come totally naturally to her and she could do with good vibes please inorder to settle down and enjoy her babies
Fran, that's weird. I was thinking about her this afternoon!!! Honest.
Sending all the good vibes I can for these little kitties and for Ria too.

The babies are totally gorgeous .......sending positive vibes for all of them especially the little one.
It's early days Fran, hopefully Ria will soon settle down and learn to enjoy her babies, she certainly has a bundle to be proud of!

Congratulations and positive vibes coming your way for mum and the babies, especially the wee one. All ours came in at about 3.5oz (about 99g) so these must be tiny babies, even for meezers. Hope all goes well. x

We've found the root of Ria's motherhood problems Dawn, I'm the problem :? When I am in the room she just wants to sit on my knee for cuddles but when I am out of the room and hubby is in charge she is totally devoted to her babies :roll:

Fran...we never thought Jazz was natural mother material, but she surprised us. But she definitely preferred it if we were with her, even so far as carring the kitts to us wherever we were!!!
So looking forward to seeing lots of pics of these babies as they grow:D

I think there are both boys and girls in the litter Kazz but I haven't formally sexed them yet. They were very slow to get going and that was my main concern when they arrived and subsequently getting mum to bond with them has been the most important thing. As soon as I know, I'll let you know :)

I was looking to get a siamese some time in the future Fran, but yes, I would consider keeping 2, and Gremlin( the lite blue tortie) is simply gorgeous, they are all getting more beautiful as they get older:D

Glad they are all doing well Fran. Lots of love and hugs being sent to you and Ria. Keep positive. Five bouncing babies is fantastic, even if they do seem a little bit small. There is time for them to grow as long as they are feeding. I'm sure that motherhood will come to Ria - it's probably just a shock to her!!!

So far so good! All 5 babies are latching themselves on without my assistance. Will weigh them later and see how they are doing especially Tiny baby although it isn't uncommon for them to lose a little in the first 24 hours, I will be happier if I see small increases. Fingers crossed.

Well what a shock! All the babies have gained weight. Tiny baby has gained a whopping 10g :shock: :cool:
I think but could be wrong that there are three boys and two girls. Of course the sex change fairy could visit a few times in the next few weeks :-D

I had a dream and thought Fran's little kitten was a boy....sorry we were chatting via PM yesterday...sorry I will update you if and when I get the go ahead from Fran but it is not public material yet however I am NOT having a kitte from Fran no intention to at all Cleo is all I need Thank you. Sorry girls there seems to have been some confusion. Kazz's 'kitten' is one she dreamt about in a dream. I'm sure she will explain it all to you as it's rather eerie but in a very nice way and one I'd like to believe in...
Not sure if it mean anything but my dream was the night before last I had a dream about a black cat, and the black cat was carrying a kitten I had a feeling the kitten was a boy but just very very small. I think I could see other kittens bigger ones. But then think the same dream the kitten I know it was the kitten from earlier was walking with the Black cat but the kitten was massive and when I woke I up dream seemed so real - I mentioned it at work where one of the lads said to me "seems like the kitten had a Lucky black one cat looking after it"
When I got home Fran had posted about Mia having her babies and it then made me think "Lucky" and Fran with a kitten smaller than the rest really odd - not sure if it means anything.
Odd though eh? There again I have had a thought idea/dream and it some have been about Fran's cats and Boom what I have said strikes a cord with Fran so you never know.
It's so nice to think this could be true. Lucky was my soulmate and to think she is now my kittens' guardian fills me with warmth and a sense of feeling that she is still with me.

Yes it is her first litter DM and she is doing just fine now I am downstairs out of the way and left her to it ;) Luckily, Tom has rigged me a cctv camera up so I can watch her from downstairs and also hear any little squeeks from the babies :cool:

I suppose that is a hazard with the meezer/orientals who get so people-fixated. Well done Tom - that is a great idea.

Yes it was. Isn't it strange how a feline thread can run through our lives? I couldn't find my kittens till Tizzie had finished needing me and now I call Chester 'Watson' as often as I use his proper name
Yes it is odd, I sometimes wonder where or when or seriously IF another feline will enter my life. But I truely believe I REALLY will recognise "him/her" as mine as soon as I see them whenever that maybe.
At the moment Cleo is more than sufficent for me and I for her.

Kazz, there is possibility of blue point, lilac point and chocolate point siamese and they will all carry cinnamon. It'll be another couple of weeks or so before they will start to colour up properly. I might know before that what the colours are going to be.
Oh and by the way the sex change fairy has been :roll: I think you were right Kazz, that little one looks like a boy. So four boys and a girl at least for today :-D

Not really but just got to remember that it looks like it's a majority of boys. Ria is Aspiritous Aquamaria

Hi Kazz, thanks, yes they are all gaining weight well. Tiny put on 10g since yesterday so now weighs 85g. The others all weigh between 120-130g so he is still considerably smaller but certainly putting good amounts of weight on..

I'm so glad to hear that the little one is doing well.
Ollie was the smallest in Lily's litter and was way behind the other two to start with, but he ended up the biggest kitten and was the first to do everything...use the tray, eat solid food, climb the scratcher!!! :-D
They are adorable Fran!! :smt007 It's good the hear they are "piling" on the weight too.......I love the close up of the little one:D
