Re: Friday night trip to the vets

Poor Milly, she must be in a lot of pain. I hope the vet can help her. Everything crossed for a good prognosis.

Re: Friday night trip to the vets

When I took Milly on, I was told she had been involved in an RTA and had had the head of her femur removed as a result.
On being xrayed today, my vet found that her bones were infact intact and what the previous vet had done was put a toggle in to hold everything together and this has now gone and has left her with a dislocated hip. She is being operated on tomorrow at which time they will now remove the head of the femur.
So it now appears that it may not have been Philo that actually caused this to happen, just bad timing on his part. Poor Milly though xxx

Glad it wasn't entirely Philo's fault. Poor Milly, I will be thinking and hoping for her tomorrow.

Poor Milly, I'll be thinking of her. Smudge had that operation 11 years ago - she gets a bit creaky in cold, wet weather but other than that you wouldn't know.
