My kitchen....so far

Today I have made a start on the feature wall in the kitchen. Excuse the mess

Before

So far

I need to do another coat on the firesurround and another coat on the wall. The paint I'm using on the fire surround is Ronseal Tile Paint. Was a bit expensive but you don't need primer with it. I've got to wait 8-16hrs before putting another coat on so hopefully by the end of the weekend this wall will be finished

Then it's a case of waiting for hubby to sort out the other walls in the kitchen to make a start on them

Thanks Moli.

The walls are painted 'Natural Terracotta' and the firesurround is in 'Oatmeal'

Even the fire is starting to look more attractive in the surround

Thanks guy's it makes the kitchen look so much better.

Do you reckon the clock should go in the middle of the wall or back in it's original place, at the side?
