Re: Toffee Times

Favourite toy: Foam-rubber earplugs. they are just the right size to carry about, they roll funny and you can stuff all of them under the bed when you get bored and watch the two-leggers crawl about fishing them out again so you can start over.

Food: He's a foodie - good! He eats all the usual cat food, loves salmon sashimi and likes squid & prawns dustless but will play with mussles until they are filthy and then bury them and pretend they never existed.

Toffee is good at vanishing himself so I have my work cut out... He's so small that he fits into the tiniest spaces and strangely for a pale-coloured cat, manages to be invisible even in places where I *should* see him such as under the sofa. So far we've lost him beind the bed in a gap so small we didn't think he could possibly be there, and we lost him down the back of the sofa.

I sometimes think cats can generate a sort of force field that distorts light so they appear not to be there .... they do have lots of mysterious powers like ESP and matter transmission (food moves from bowl to inside cat within nanosecond) .......

Re: Toffee Times

Cold morning, smart kitten.

We've been out on a harness and lead three times today and have perused almost all of the garden and a bit of the pavement outside.

Worn out and has given himself carpetburns on both front dewclaws from playing with his ball and with all the earplugs we have in the house. We're now making him play on the bed and downstairs on the wooden floor so they have a chance to recover and so that Better Half will have a set of useable earplugs for tonight.
