stray mother & single kitten

Took a call this evening about a stray cat that has been around for a few months & has made a nest & had a kitten under a motorbike in a ladys garden. the ladys 3 terriers are not happy about this & have been barking at her. The lady was out this evening, so tomorrow I am off up there to check out the situation. She thinks there is just one kitten. Have asked her to keep the dogs away & I said cat may move the baby now, although she seemed to think she had stayed there for a few hours after the dog incident. She has given her a drink & some dog food she also said it is a sheltered area. Will update tomorow.

Well she has been growling at the lady, so may be a case of trapping her, but it's only a few miles from me so will take a look first & set a trap if needbe.

Brilliant!

Were there any other kittens around or just the one with mum?

One fat & very grumpy mommy. One nice healthy kitten around 5 days old. They are in my pen. Both tabby & white. Kitten is female.

I'd be grumpy too if I'd had to have a baby outside under a motor bike, be harrassed by dogs and then snatched up by a strange lady! Bless her, hope she settles soon!
