What a lovely woman! I did take on my old FIV cat Ferdy and probably unwittingly, Darcy who must have had some defect (heart?) to go so suddenly. But I've never made a conscious decision to adopt a sick or elderly animal.

I'm sure I will once other commitments (current fussy/sick old cats and mental small children) subside.

I think for as many that will take on a kitten there are those that will give a home to an oldie/sickie - bless them all!
