Re: My dear Bernie

Elaine, my heart sank when I saw the way the title was headed. I know only too well how you must be feeling, I hope you can manage to 'forget' the future and enjoy Bernie while he is well. You will know when he is no longer enjoying life and are strong enough to know when to let him go. I hope he has many happy months with you, we are here is you need us.

Re: My dear Bernie

Some amazing words of comfort here Elaine; may I add my hugs and wishes of strength. Kim is so right when she says that Bernie is none the wiser . . . and although no real comfort at a time like this, I hope this may help your feelings of sadness and helplessness just a little.

Lots of love.

Re: My dear Bernie

Thankyou all again, I do apreciate every ones support and best wishes.
I left for work this morning feeling a little gloomy as Bernie didnt want any breakfast and was very quiet, sleeping a fair bit. But I came home to tales from G about him playing with a stray boot lace and ambushing Milly. Cheered me up loads and he ate all his tea.

Re: My dear Bernie

Good news, Elaine.

While your concern is Bernie's health. His is a boot lace.

He puts life in perspective, doesn't he?

Best wishes

Re: My dear Bernie

A little good news about Bernie, he has put a little weight back on and still seems quite chipper.
