Google. Used to use Ask Jeeves years ago because it came on the computer; friend told me to use Google because it was better. Did and it is. Tried Yahoo a few times, results not as good.

I've always used Google too. I guess it's something that you get used to doing. Did you know that to 'google' has now become an offical verb ? Like, to 'hoover' its brand name is synonymous with the activity.

I think Google has virtually cornered the market now.
It's nice to see that Ask has brought back jeeves - I always thought it wa sa mistake to get rid of him
I'll sometimes use a different engine if Google doesn't seem to be finding what i want but usually you just have to change your search parameters a bit

Re: What search engine do you use and why?

I use Yahoo on principle because I don't like the market control Google has. However if I can't find what I'm looking for I'll switch to Google.

HOWEVER - we stopped advertising our business on Yahoo some while ago because it there were zero results whereas Google generated a lot of enquiries.

Just out of curiousity, is your business consumer or b2b focused?
