Re: My first miaow!

Success in uploading the photo (it did it automatically after I joined Photobucket; I am reluctant to join too many sites like that as I am signed up to so many sites already but did on this occasion!) I hope everyone can see the photo.

Update on our other feline Honey Cat. She was on TV last week:

But Bumble is in the photo and is also in the press:

Fortunately, cats don't charge for personal appearances!!!

I've got the ebook too Jem and I'm longing to read it. I can relate to the Uplands area as I did my nurse training in Swansea and lived at Parc Beck.

That's lovely, thanks very much.

Crump is a VERY different novel though - very dark satire! I just say that because it offends some people!

Sorry for the delayed reply by the way - I have been offline/ill for the last week.

Many thanks for that - I hope you like the book and its characters.

It is not ONLY meant for cat lovers, but those who know and love cats (like me) will recognise the behaviour and attitude of the cat characters instantly. I hope it makes you laugh!

Nice to hear you know Uplands! I was born and brought up in Kent, and after that lived in Sheffield, London, Brighton - and in Greece (Crete) and in Prague. My mum is from here though so I have spent holidays here since she retired back to Wales in 1987. Back here permanently since 2004.

Many thanks - your cats look lovely by the way. Are they a special breed? What sort of miaows do they have, if you don't mind me asking.

Re: My first miaow!

Hi Jem, I have read your book A Cat Called Dog and absolutely LOVED IT!

I downloaded it to my Kindle from Amazon and given them some feedback as to how much I loved the book.
I feel it's great read for all ages but especially for kids and I would have loved to have read this aloud to my grandson at bedtimes. He's 14 now so wouldn't appreciate it read to him but he'd find it a good read I bet.

Well done you fellow Welshman, how's life in Swansea these days?

Nette x

Re: My first miaow!

Hi acatcalleddog!!
The two " girls" we think are of mostly "Burman" origin. They came from a litter of 5 of which two were brown and one was jet black!!
The larger one in the Photo , Joy, has a long drawn out miaow and the smaller one , Beau , has a quicker high pitched miaow!
