Re: Amazing markings - what breed?

Yep I agree now, it does look like a photoshop job. I was just confused as all the other photos i've seen on icanhascheezburger.com have been real, unphotoshopped photos with amusing captions. I think the 'lolcat' name is just a name given, not because they are fake but because the captions accompanying them are funny. So misleading

Wouldn't it be amazing if there were cats that looked like this? (Naturally, not through genetic modification!) I actually thought they looked a lot like red pandas:

Re: Amazing markings - what breed?

My suspicion is the kittens are naturally black and white and they've photoshopped on the ginger. The black and white markings on the cat at the back, on its wee nose, are quite intricate and would have been hard to do; but the ginger is one blanket colour.

Re: Amazing markings - what breed?

They are cuties, aren't they meep? I think the implication was that Firefox and Lolcat have been er, um .... breeding, don't you? I would say the pictures have been "enhanced"!

On a similar but slightly different tack - did you see this book?

[Why do I always get Page Load Error when using the linking thingy? This should work: http://www.whypaintcats.com/ ]
