Bernard post-op!

I forgot to post these pics I took of Bernard after his cyst removal op.

He has had the stitches out now and I'm amazed at how fast he seems to be healing!! It's fantastic. I'll take some new pics of him at the weekend and post them too.

Here's the handsome fella.................

That looks like a very healthy, clean, neat wound Charlie. Glad he is well on the mend now

Bet he had a chilly back for a while - poor boy.
The shaving looks so dramatic doesn't it but, as Fran says, nice clean looking wound

Aw, bless him!! He needs a little woolly coat to keep him warm Seriously - I'm so pleased he's healing well, I'm sure he'll be far more comfortable without his cyst.

What a big area of that lovely long fur they shaved! I agree that is a very neat and clean wound....

You'll have to get him a little gilet to wear to keep him warm Charlie!

So glad he's on the mend now. It always looks so dramatic when they shave such a big area. Poor thing will be a while before his hair grows back to normal. Now if that was a kid............................................... ............................. We would never hear the end of it!

Re: Bernard post-op!

That is a nice clean little incision; see your vet uses that purple thread also; that's what Leia had. Glad he's healing so well; fur will be back before you know it!
