The fish stock will flavour the rice and make it more appetising Alex.........

Re: Arowroot hasn't worked!!

Funny you should ask Sweet, 'cause I was just about to post about this, lol! I didn't give her potato tonight as I had already added the milk and butter to my tatties to mash them when I remembered that I was supposed to be giving her some!! I did however cook the rice in the same pan as her fish and put tree bark powder on it before I served it to her, and as of a few minutes ago Teddie is walking around with a little tummy as round as a beachball!!! She actually ate the stuff!! I've never actully seen her tummy like that, so fingers crossed everyone that she doesn't have an adverse reaction to the rice and that we've managed to find something to fill her up a bit.

Tbh Mags I didn't put a lot in but not a small amount either as I honestly didn't think she'd touch it! She didnt eat every last bit of it though, so we'll just have to see how she is in the morning.Hopefully the TBP will help her digest it ok.

Re: Arowroot hasn't worked!!

Fingers crossed there are no repurcussions.
It will be great if she can cope with *something* other than white fish.
Alex - have I asked you if she can manage raw food? I was wondering if a chicken wing would be good for her? Lots of different elements to that - meat (protein),fat, calcium in the bones, good stuff in the bone marrow, general 'roughage' etc. But I guess you should take everything very cautiously?
