Worming....

With all the information regarding over vaccination of cats I just wondered what your thoughts were on worming...are we over worming our cats?

Re: Worming....

My cats are wormed every 3 months religiously. My outdoor cats 'hunt' and my cats live with children. So I enforce a very strict worming regime here.

Re: Worming....

Until Oli was 6 months old I wormed him every two weeks (wormers given to me from the vets). Now, he is a big boy, the vet has told me that he only needs worming every 6 months because he is an indoor cat. That seems fine by me!

On the other hand. If he was an outdoor cat he would need to be wormed every 3 months.

Re: Worming....

Mine have been wormed every month up until now, but as Cooper and Teddie have reached the 6 month mark it will be every 3-4 months now.
