Re: Please Welcome Kizzy!

Glad to hear the "wind" has died down! Did she sleep with you again last night?

Re: Please Welcome Kizzy!

Yes, she slept on our bed again last night! She is such a sweetie - had just one SBD this afternoon.

I bought her a kitten toy, little pink mouse thing on elastic with a small stick. She took a while but did actually do some good leaps and jumps ...... but that bought on the SBD! She is taking more notice of things outside the window and seems more alert today. She is funny when she sees a bird ........ Smudge always used to "monkey chatter". Kizzy does the mouth movements without making a sound! Coo, she was sitting beside me on the floor just then and I looked at her and she gave a tiny chirrup. We'll get there. She is an enchanting girl.

Re: Please Welcome Kizzy!

So happy for you Angie, it must be lovely to have Kizzy in your arms and getting to know her.
She looks a lovely girl.
I did smile when I heard about her flatulence, especially just after going thru "Windchester"
Hopefully the smelliness will calm down now she's settled a bit.

Re: Please Welcome Kizzy!

That's cute about Kizzy chittering silently at the birds...maybe so as not to alert them?
Does she do silent miaows also?

Leia doesn't chitter at them at all...years ago I pointed at one and imitated chittering to show her what to do...and she looked at me as if I'd gone completely mad ....

Oh yes and the slow blinkey screw-your-eyelids-together thing - it's really not a pure blink. She does it right back!
