Re: Holiday cats, home and abroad

Well this is a postcard of an Irish cat, but not a postcard that a friend sent to me; rather it is a postcard that I sent to my cats at home! Now I share this with you, knowing that you will not think I am, or was, totally barmy!

The back reads:

Dear Puss cats

Having a lovely time but missing you all. Have seen some of your relatives who send their regards. Fresh fish plentiful - had crab for supper on Saturday. Be good for Tony and Jenny. See you soon love from all your two-legged friends XXXX

Addressed to "Merlin, Smudge and Oz" - Oz was a frequent visitor, but not our cat! The year was 1993 and the card still has pride of place on what was Merlin's noticeboard.

Re: Holiday cats, home and abroad

now i know that im in a "cat-a-holics" group...when we are away we sent cards to our daughter and the cats... sometimes if i see a card that pertains to catsi'll send just to them... i often wonder what the postie thought when he delivered cards to Tinky Winky Helman... or George Helman..
cant wait till we got away next .. i will send a card addressed to HRH Princess Harri!
