Re: Holiday cats, home and abroad

Unfortunately, I don't have any photos of holiday cats - plenty at the Roman Amphitheatre at Siracusa, Sicily. I made friends with several who came looking for food, but I was unprepared - they were friendly cats and I would have willingly fed them if I'd had anything. My friend pulled me into a cafe and ushered me into the ladies to wash my hands! Probably a good idea.

I'll think of other places I've made friends with holiday cats...

Re: Holiday cats, home and abroad

We had a cat/kitten family visit us every day when in our farmhouse holidays in Italy - we were warned not to feed them . . . pah - they got fed! Either licked our marinade bowls clean or spread themselves out on the sofas.

Somewhere I have a non-digital picture . . .
