Re: An uncertain future

In some respects its probably a blessing but still very very sad none the less. Dawn is gutted.
The one remaining is blind in both eyes but we suspect she may be able to see shadows. Dawn has named her Emily. She is a real tear away and apparently batters all the cats in her path and bites Dawns nose.
But who knows what the future holds for her or if she will suddenly fade like the others.

Re: An uncertain future

An update from Dawn

Sadly, Emily is only surviving baby now.....I had to have the other little one pts last week, I expected it to happen but still very sad all the same
Emily is doing really well, in fact she is a total pain but I love seeing her loving life and causing bedlam with all the other kittens
She bites anything that gets in her path, playfully of course but she doesn't care if it's a nose, an ear or a foot.......all kitties cross her path at their own peril
She has no fear where the cats are concerned and nothing seems to stop her.....she is a wonderful little girl, and I know at times I'd wished I'd had Smokie spayed so I could have avoided all the heartache with the other little ones, but then I think of the gorgeous Emily who really is a survivor against the odds
And the good news is, she's gaining weight as well
Here's a couple of piccies of the little minx and of the gorgeous Smokie

Re: An uncertain future

Emily is still doing well and a kind lady has offered her a home, just not sure if Dawn will let her go. She has a check up this week at the vets and will take it from there.

Mum Smokie has since been spayed and rehomed.

Re: An uncertain future

The poor thing, but so pleased she is doing OK. This is the litter I have pictured in my "irresponsible" breeding litter, so sorry there is only one remaining.
Dawn.
