RIP little one

Had a phone call from hubby just after 9 am this morning, a young cat had been hit on the road outside his work, He ran out to check it, it was still alive, so he wrapped it in his works jumper and ran all the way up the hill beside him to where our vets are. As he walked through the door he felt the cat take one last breath and then go completely limp The vet took him straight through to the surgery, but confirmed that he had gone. Poor hubby is in bits, it's not the first time he's had something like this happen to him.

The vet scanned that cat and it had a chip, so hopefully the owners will be able to take some comfort in the fact that their pet wasn't alone when it died and that someone cared enough to try and help.

RIP little one, I'm sure you will be missed x

It is a risk unfortunately, and the main reason I was so hesitant about letting ours have outdoor access However the benefits it has brought them makes me realise it's something I just have to pray doesn't happen.

RIP little one. Hope you are enjoying chasing butterflies at Rainbow Bridge.

What a lovely thing your husband did for the puddy cat.

I wish there were more people like your husband around.

Anne.
