daily thread - Thursday

Hi - are you ready for Gordon? Tail end of the tropical storm with temperatures in the high 20s in places with 80mph winds tonight! Interesting!
It's very nice now and quite hard to believe it's the autumn equinox already.
I've hurt my (left) hand and am quite seriously hors de combat. Not sure what i've done, don't remember taking a blow on it (or punching anyone!) but the knuckle of my little finger is soooo painful. Wouln't be suprised if there's a break there. I'll tape it to my ring finger and rest it today but I can't afford too much time off the allotment. Spit! Forecast is bad for tomorrow, so I don't mind resting up then, but I had plans for today.

Last day for my kits to remain as they were born - neutering tomorrow. How will I cope with the reproachful looks when they don't get their supper tonight, let alone no breakfast tomorrow? They can be admitted from 8.15 so I think we'll have a lie in as late as we can and then just scoop them up and head off!

Aw Sweet - hop you're feeling better soon. Are you staying in bed or are you going to try and soldier through the day?

DM - that wouldn't be arthritis setting in would it

Not sure what I'm going to be up to today! It's rare and pleasant to be at a loose end I might try and rake up some of the dead leaves under my laurel shrubs but will have to see how the tummy bears up . . . might do some anyway.

Need to get Sebastian registered for Child Benefit . . will see if I can do that online. Also, I might have a go at painting a large canvas that's been waiting for a couple of months for me to get started. It's been so long since I've done any 'art' that I'm putting it off, but must get round to it soon

Am having a really bad day so far and it's only 11:30

Hubby's gone to do a referesher course today for his MOT tester qualification so not sure what time he'll be home tonight. He's only gone to Bridgend and I've asked him to drop some stuff off at my mam's on his way home if he has a chance as she lives down that way.

Gonna try and chill out now

Morning all, beautiful day here but quite windy......washing should be dry in no time!

DM ~ I hope the pain eases in your little finger......you haven't been drinking too many cups of tea and 'crooking' it up too much I hope!

Yola ~ I, too, would love to see more pics of our first Catsey baby if you have any!

Sweet
~ Hope you'll be feeling better soon...

Nae ~ Your day can only get better.....chin up

Enjoy the lovely weather while we have it!!

Now I hadn't thought of that - over exercised pinkie!

Just been wasting time looking at 'Oceanogram' and got a message with about 5 cat-type quotes in it. So, I added one and invited everyone to come to catsey. Wouldn't it be great if it landed with another cat lover or two, worldwide?

I used to put CP at the end of my messages just to see if I got one back......I never did but there were a few saucy ones floating about!

The sun has gone (although it's still warm), the wind is picking up ....... I think Gordon approaches! They've given an extreme weather warning for Devon & Cornwall.

It's like the south of France here - a beautiful, warm breeze and clear sky. However, I think tomorrow and the weekend brings rain, rain and more rain

I will see what I can do about the pictures . . .
