I heard that they hope he will make a good recovery so that's good news. When my mum suffered brain damage after her fall we were told by the neurologist that apparently young males recover the best from brain injuries, so he is in with the best chance!

"Moved out of intensive care" - sounds like this may be one very fortunate relatively young man.

Kim - that is an interesting fact about young men having better prospects of recovery. Can we think of any reasons? - the only ones I could think would be cruel and misandronist, so I won't bother here

Good luck to Richard Hammond (although I absolutely hate Top Gear, Clarkson etc)
