Re: Smudgley....

Hello, thanks for asking about me.

I'm missing you all loads & I'm missing CP (or catsey as we are now) loads too.

The news is that the plasterer has let us down (big style) with excuse after excuse about why he can't make it, his dad was ill (obviously we were sympathetic about this) then he had an insect bite which got infected (again, we understood & didn't mind) however 6 weeks into his work & he'd done hardly anything, us living in a caravan with 3 cats & a dog is no joke & we got totally fed up with him & have given him the boot. We struggled to find another plasterer at short notice, thererfore my B-I-L (who is a plasterer but works for a company) is doing the plastering after work every evening!

So - 7 weeks we've been living in the caravan. & we are 6 weeks behind schedule with the house

I'm not on line at home (obviously) & I haven't had chance to pop on at work as I've been busy doing visits etc.

Hopefully another 3 weeks (ish) we'll be back in the house, it's looking good now, but I am very fed up of it all now. The builders started back in April.

I've been very busy fostering - I've got lots of photos for you all when I can get back on.

Take care,

Kelly.

Re: Smudgley....

Oh dear, why are there always problems cropping up when you want a job done!

That's good of your B-I-L to help out after work though I hope you'll be able to see light at the end of the tunnel shortly and get back to normal very soon Smudgley

Then we want to see loads of photos, please!

Re: Smudgley....

Glad you're OK anyways! It's a pain about the plasterer - there's always someone that lets you down when dealing with building work (speaking from bitter experience here ). Still - hopefully not long now and you'll be back in your big, spacious house . . . and I bet you'll all appreciate it all the more for having been confined in a caravan for such a long time
