Daily Thread / Tuesday

Morning all, nice bright day again despite the overnight rain and winds. May go out riding later this morning. Off to do the School run shortly and see what the day brings.

Moli - I hope Casper is feeling better today x

Hope you all have a great day

Re: Daily Thread / Tuesday

Goodmorning everyone!

Not alot planned for today really. I have a 2 1/2 lecture in uni this morning, then need to do some reading and type up some notes later!

I have a feeling today is going to feel like a very long day though because I have been up since 5am! (cats, who would have 'em!)

Hope everybody is feeling well and has a good day.

Tanya xx

Re: Daily Thread / Tuesday

Good morning. Another nice morning after another very wild night. OH is off till tomorrow night so I am free to do whatever ... although I still have some 'office work' to do. Other than that, I may walk to town to find little somethings for the mothers for mothers day (even though I hate the whole commercialised razzamatazz). Have some elephant garlic to plant (mmm, garlic flavoured elephants/elephant flavoured garlic ) but I fear the plot will be far too wet. It won't come to any harm with waiting a day or three.
Hope all the poorly cats are feeling good (at least the people appear to be generally improved). Have a good day everyone.

Morning all,

Same here...the sun is shining over the back trees and the birds are singing, the magpies seem to be on a role this morning, with the little garden birds trying to compete lol.

Work as normal, this is going to be a long week, hopefully I will be all settled soon, trouble is I need a map in my new job lol, I keep getting lost Anyway, last day at my old job tomorrow, mixed feelings, guessing thats normal.

Woke up to find one of the cats had been sick - trouble is....which one? Misty is looking very sad under the bed, she had spent the whole night on the sofa all cozy comfy. Maybe it was Jac, shes the one normally, but shes sat on my dresser in the window getting warm from the sun through the window.

I hope Chancer is better today, ((((((hugs)))))) to everyone x

Re: Daily Thread / Tuesday

Still bright and sunny here after a night when I thought the roof was going to come off . . . boy was it windy and rainy!!

In the office today and things are quite buzzy. Am actually getting my teeth into starting to market the business, and we are planning a series of emailing campaigns which means I'm having to learn the process from scratch. Thankfully we have a designer who is putting the emails together but I have to devise the campaigns, write them and then implement them . . . and it's actually great fun doing some proper work again.

Has anyone heard the new Madness single, Sorry? It's the best bit of music I've heard in ages and it's already downloaded from Napster and is played over and over at home!!

Must dash . . .

What a beautiful day! The ground is very sodden though - one of the old boys at the allotments said we've had just under 2" in 2 nights! However, the elephant garlic is planted; so are my first container potatoes, but they're nice and cosy in the polytunnel. It was much dryer there, and very very warm.

Thanks for the link DM, I've never heard of it before .......I'll keep my eye open for it - all Sainsburys sell is small garlic and large garlic!
