Kinda worried

Okay anyone know anything about lumps. Cleo has had a lump growing on her left shoulder for about 3 months well actually it came stayed there about size of a pea then nothing now it is the size of a strawberry maybe a little bigger. We have got an appointment at the vets on Thursday - but I think its a cyst. It does not hurt her no change in her attitude -eating - daily routine anything and no sign of pain or discomfort. But in the last week we have another nearer to her ear about the size of a pea. I just wondered if anyone else had had anything similar - he is no young of course.

Re: Kinda worried

My sam had a lump appear on his jaw when he was 8, it was removed and tested, it was a multicell tumour and was benign, from then till he was 13 he had 5 more removed each one was benign, the vet said they were not dangerous, but if left could become sore and infected. They never bothered him as such, he just had a lop sided jaw after all the op's....

Re: Kinda worried

Don't know much about lumps in cats Kazz, but try not to worry and hopefully the vet will be able to reassure you that they are harmless. Let us know how she gets on at the vets.....
