Wednesday Daily.

Good morning ladies. Wednesday afternoon here and it's just starting to rain a little. it was very foggy this morning (real Jack The Ripper weather), but it cleared up by 10am. I took the bus up to Animates pet store and managed to get some cat biscuits that the cats like and some pouches of urinary food. Dickens will eat the gravy only and he'll leave the meaty bits, but I figure at least it's urinary food ,so the gravy is better than nothing.. We had a relatively easy time giving Dickens his medication this morning, after a total disaster yesterday morning. Sometimes I can just get it right (don't know why)

I had my kidney scan yesterday and they also did a bladder scan. My doctor rang me early this morning to tell me that there was no sign of stones or anything sinister. She's still wondering why my kidney function dropped such a lot. I have to go for another blood test shortly and she says that if it hasn't gone up to at least 60, she will send me to a renal specialist at the hospital. Last time it had risen to 57, so I'm hoping it is now in the 60s, which is the safe zone.

I'm kinda getting sick of having no car now. Brenna's last car is still sitting up my driveway unused, but the battery is dead. I don't really want it as it's very big and uses so much petrol, but I'm now thinking of maybe getting a smaller car by the end of the year. I haven't driven for a while now, (although I was driving Brenna's new Audi recently, around her property) and I would have to see how my eyes are. I know that diabetes has caused changes behind both my eyes and I'm due to have my eyes checked again on the 18th at the Diabetic Clinic at Burwood Hospital

PAMELA, I hope you're enjoying your week off work and getting some nice weather. It sounds as if you are busy cleaning the house and tidying the garden .i hope you find some time to relax as well. I'm glad you were out on the bikes last Sunday. How shocking about your friend's wee Yorkie losing 12 teeth at only 4 years of age, That doesn't seem right. What a terrible vet to do that without even getting the owner's permission. I bet your friend was upset. about it.I know I would be.I'm glad you enjoyed your sister's hen night at the weekend. What a little hunter Harris is. - a vole and a little rabbit. They were his gifts to you. I know what you mean about feeling sorry for the little bunny, but unfortunately, that's nature. .Harris would have been very pleased with himself. Oh yes, the "pool room" is so called because it used to have a big pool table in it. My dad played a lot of pool with my cousins. The pool table has gone now, but the name remains. BTW, what on earth are triple cooked chips ? I've never heard of them but I bet they were delicious.

SHELLEY, I'm glad you enjoyed your doll meeting and the meal, but the long wait must have been disappointing for you all. At least the food was good, when you finally got it.I hope your back is feeling a bit better now. You'll have to be careful not to lift anything too heavy in future. I also hope Howard's sore knee has settled down a bit. I also have bad knees and I know that the pain can be terrible at times. I'm glad you enjoyed your concert on Sunday night. How are your preparations for the doll fair going ? Have you got a lot to sell, or are you mainly interested in seeing what's available to purchase ? Either way, I bet you're looking forward to it.

Well Pamela and Shelley, I'm off to take the cats out now. Chicken and corn soup for tea tonight, as we had a biggish lunch and aren't really hungry.

Have a super-dooper Wednesday ladies. .
