Morning all...just turning light here. Got to take Em to her netball practise this morning and go to see my horse. Other than that just general household chores and getting the Dining room finished off ready for next week.

I am having a crafty day with my friends as it is our monthly gathering. Today is planned with lots of nibbles and mulled wine. I have never crafted whilst drunk before so I look forward to experiencing something new

Forgot to tell you that Mum had her wrist x-rayed again yesterday. There is a break but it is starting to heal itself. She has a touch of arthritis there (aparently) so the doc didn't want to plaster it (no I don't know why either

), so she's just to continue wearing the splint for the next 3 weeks and hopefully that will be that. So much better than it might have been, and she's even using the microwave now!

Did you hear that John Spencer (Leo MacGarry in West Wing) has died aged only almost 59? He loked much much older - I would have put him at nearing 70. he was a recovering alcoholic in real life as well as in the series, so I think he stands as a timely reminder to us to be moderate in our habits.

It is a just lovely day here - none of the nasty weather they promised.

Well cleanings done... A bit of shopping's done.. Not much though.. Still need the duck and roast and spuds and all that.. But tomoz I'm going into Koege to buy the last few pressies and then we are going foodshopping afterwards.. Should be a nice couple of hours...

I'm thawing some diced bits of chicken- liver and heart and some pork heart.. They are going to be dried out in the oven.. A christmas pressie for my friend's, Janie, 2 doggies..

The last bunch didnt go well and started to rotten in the jamglass..

Any one having any tips on how to do this??

Afternoon all.....have had a busy morning running around doing this and that!
It's a beautiful day here, sunny and not a cloud in the sky. Going out for a meal later with our daughter, son-in-law and kiddies.....
