Torn muscle - ouch

Well Monday I pulled my back at work something totally silly but it hurt Tuesday it was worse, yesterday it was agony. today same again, went to work all through but got sent home this morning - went to the Doctors and they said I have torn a muscle or possibly slipped a disc have to rest and not do anything stupid - not that I can I'm in agony.
Have to wait for the hospital to send for me for a scan - to confirm or deny the slipped disc thing. Hopefully sooner rather than later.

Karen

Re: Torn muscle - ouch

OUCH Kazz, I know how you feel. I was involved in a car accident a couple years ago and I hurt my back, got no better and after several weeks I went for physio and manipulation etc.. and saw a chiroprator, and they said "you have slipped a disc" WHAT I said, no problem I'll just manipulate it and BINGO it was in again! Lucky yes, it could of been much worse, I hope yours isnt. I have dreadful Sciatica now, sometimes worse than others. Honestly though, I walked out of physio sooooooo much more easily than when I walked in.

Hope your scan is done quickly, back pain is dreadful to bare, lets hope its very soon and you can have a pain free Xmas.
dawn.
