Re: Our moggies

Thanks for the compliments- I think they are gorgeous but of course I may be a bit biased.... Mind you- one of them is in disgrace, I'm just not sure which one. There was startled field vole in the kitchen today- someone obviously bought it in and 'lost' it!

Re: Our moggies

Lol, maybe the hunter was playing "catch-and-release" with it! Leia does that, to my great annoyance....

Re: Our moggies

I think they are spoilt for choice at the moment as they have just ploughed the field next to us so all the little critters run to the edge. It has been wet outside so they bring them in to the warm house to play with! The most traumatised was the young rabbit who finally ran out from behind the very noisy boiler to surrender. We hope we put it back near the right place in the field......

Re: Our moggies

Awww, poor little rabbit! Leia's a house cat...I live in the City on a heavily trafficed street......but am near woods, and the field mice come in every Autumn seeking warmth and shelter. Leia usually kills the first few, but then gets bored apparently, and as I said plays catch-and-release to prolong the game, I guess. Not nice! The one and only time we got a rat (horrors!) there was no playing....killed it at once! and very proud of herself she was, too!
