Remembering Shadowboxer...

A very special member of Dogsey, her knowledge and understanding of dogs has been invaluable to so many people, she was a kind, caring person who we all loved and will greatly be missed...Thoughts with her husband and family at the sad time..

RIP....Dear Friend.... Patxxxx

Re: Remembering Shadowboxer...

I thought of posting this too pat-strange eh?
A woman like no other, invaluable advice, a firm hand of support, and a good sense of humour too! She knew more about the dog world than anyone i know..and has really left a gaping hole, in our hearts and on dogsey. Not too sure if it will ever be the same over there, a dogsey without SB just doesn't sound right.
RIP Lesley

Re: Remembering Shadowboxer...

Such tragic news of Shadowboxer

Although I didn't contribute to Dogsey I frequently read her posts there and could tell that she was a much loved and valued member who seemed to go out of her way to help others.

She will be sorely missed by many, many people......including Az, she was almost like a backbone to him with her help and understanding.

My thoughts are with her dear husband and her family......and of course, her beloved boxers....

RIP Shadowboxer........ x

Re: Remembering Shadowboxer...

After Luke's daily thread post I did go and have a look on Dogsey. A sudden and tragic death is always such a shock, and I don't think it matters whether it's a 'real' or a cyber-friend that is lost; the pain is equal.

It sounds like this lady held a special place in many peoples' hearts. May she rest in peace and her family find comfort in the kindness shown by those whom she touched.

Oh I don't believe this - I must go to Dogsey and read more.
Shadowboxer is one of the kindest most patient and knowledgeable women I have never met.
I am very sad - and very shocked - to read this.

Her knowledge and help wil live on; there are many puppies, now dogs, whose lives have been made so much happier because of her.

Re: Remembering Shadowboxer...

A lovely funny lady. Who fought daily battles with her roses and because of that I recently sent her a hat saying "War of the roses" I'd ordered it from the garden show at the NEC. But I don't think she received it I imagine our letters are passing as normal.

She's a nice lady and a friend.

RIP SB.
