She's 13, Em, and I heard yesterday that she has bone cancer in her front leg and needs an amputation. But I've discussed this in the health thread, so let's not go into it here. I've had cats all my life, never been without one. They were all wonderful, unique and dearly loved. But this gal, well, she's the love of my life as far as cats go. Gentle, dog-like in her devotion, follows me if I go for a walk in the neighbourhood, great 'sense of humour', just a joy to live with. She was a wonderful mother too, had one litter and was then sterilised. |
