Roast beef.

Well todays dinner will be roast beef, homemade yorkie, sprouts, carrots, mashed and roast pots, gravy and horseradish sauce.

Brought a joint of beef from the butcher, got it home and thought God thats big. So have cut it into three, having one piece today, will freeze the other third for another weekend and the other third I sliced into three nice steaks....all now in freezer.
Still have enough from todays dinner to have roast beef sarnies or salad.

What ae you having?

Beef stew!!!! LOL

I also have two frozen pieces of beef in my freezer - I tend to buy it on offer and then cut it up and pop it in the freezer.

Not a particular fan of roast beef, but beef stew is a favorite. I usually buy stew beef for that.

Re: Roast beef.

I had sausages, chips and baked beans in the end. Too far for the roast beef and I realised you'd already had your Sunday lunch Kazz!

We'll soon be in the right time of year for lovely braised beef stew ...................... yum!
