I am not sure, but I would think once in a while as a treat is OK, but not as a substitute for nutritionally balanced kitten food.

yeh just as you would give tuna as a treat, just checking that crab meat would be ok.

I am sure that someone else on Catsey uses crab meat to "bribe" her kitties to sit for their portraits. I am ashamed to say that I can't remember who it is!

I have given my cats tuna for year and they love it, but have never tried crab meat on them. Maybe wait until kitty is a bit older as it may be a bit rich. It is fine to give tinned fish as a treat.
