New Born Orphan kittens

On Saturday (late afternoon) my friend was made aware of two new born kittens whose very young (feral) mum had rejected. A frantic effort was made to find a nursing cat who had very recently had kittens. Sadly within a couple of hours one kitten died

As time ticked on & the owner of the property didnt feel they could cope with the responsibity, my friend found this tiny kitten deposited with her. Although she has hand reared numerous times, at present she has building work going on & it just wasnt feasible for her to keep the kitten.

There is a very unique lady on the outskirts of Belfast who specialises in handrearing Orphan kittens however at this time of year she is always full. However she agreed to take this tiny kitten. Said kitten was made comfy overnight, got a feed into her & survived the night. She then made the very long journey to what will hopefully be her home for the next few months.
