Monty, our little star!

You might remember me saying earlier this week that we only had one red rosette .......

Here's a bit of a brag, our Monty who is now nearly two and a half came top in his dog obedience class and got 92% and a red rosette!

He doesn't look as proud of himself as we are of him!

Thanks ladies!

Yes, that's a summer cut - only just done last Thursday, the groomer fitted him in! (Called a "sports cut"!)

Elaine, when he's good he's very very good but otherwise he's just a Schnauzer and stubborn!

Re: Monty, our little star!

Yes Velvet - Monty has been doing agility since he turned 1 year old. He is getting quite a confident boy now and speeding up a bit, but he'd never beat those collies! Good thing actually, as my OH runs him and has to struggle now to keep up with him. We don't do competitions though.

How is Dora coming on and do you think you will let someone else run her as you said in agility bet she will be good and fast and give the collies a run for their money.

Re: Monty, our little star!

Dora won't be able to start agility until the Autumn, when she's 1 year old, although she's done a couple of puppy introduction to agility classes, just to get her used to the equipment and over low jumps. She caught on very fast. I do think we will have to try and find someone else to run her though .... I'll get OH to ask the agility trainer, she may know of someone.

Dora goes to obedience classes with me and is coming along quite well. She got 71% in her first test and a yellow rosette. I think she would be suited to flyball ......
