Re: Eileen

I expect the area where they made the incision will also be very bruised, Eileen. Do you have a dressing on it? Personally, unless you were told otherwise, I would leave the area to heal on its own ....... if you still find it unbearably painful after a few days, then contact your doctor/hospital for advice.

Re: Eileen

Yes, the dressing is still on, I cannot take a bath for a few days; shower will be OK tomorrow and I can take the dressing off then., It's nagging/sore painful, not unbearably painful ... thank God!

Re: Eileen

oh eileen glad to see you here!! glad your procedure went well and the heart condition isnt asbad as once thought! just have yourself a relaxing few days, did they give you any anti-inflammatory meds? they could help with the inflammation and soreness of your incision site.

Re: Eileen

Happy to see you are home and everything went well. Good news that your heart is strong and you have the ok for surgery.

Sorry that your wound is sore - probably a bit late but do you have arnica in the house?

That is such good news Eileen. So pleased to hear it. Though am sorry to hear that it is on the painful side today. Hope that clears up soon.

Re: Eileen

Thanks again for the latest lovely posts ... pleased to say the incision isn't as sore as earlier in the day ... been over 24 hours now so it should be better. Had a nice lunch and a small nap ... I normally can't sleep in the daytime, but did ... and am feeling much less tired! As to ABs, have no idea what I got; I had an IV drip but don't know what it was.

You all are such a great bunch of people .....
