Sunny Autumn Sunday walk


Some photos taken yesterday on our walk. As you can see, it was a lovely bright day with frost on the ground.


The beech trees are looking glorious -
(This image should be showing as portrait, even though I see it as landscape!)

Here is Monty Bogle, just not quite up to catching that squirrel (Spawn of Satan!)

The larch tress are losing their needles fast -
(not sure why this is such soft focus, but it does show the lovely colours.)

I saw on Countryfile last evening that, apart from the widely published problems with ash trees, the larch is also under threat - I didn't realise that.

Super pictures, lots of similar scenes on my daily school run but nowhere really to stop and take pics.

Makes me realise what a beautiful country we live in though.

We do don't we I watched a programme on he TV and thought wow that beautiful and discovered it was on the Isle of Skye I thought it was the Carribean at least if not Heaven its self.
