Re: Stormy Aberdeen today

Astonishing scenes with all that sea-foam. I saw it on the national news and there was a cute cocker spaniel romping in the foam. They didn't give much info on trees being blown down though, I hope no-one was hurt and that the weather situation has improved by now.

Re: Stormy Aberdeen today

That looks awful Elaine, it's a wonder no-one was killed with those falling trees.

Those harbour pictures are amazing, it looks more like a snow storm has fallen there!

We had floods yesterday, many of the roads were closed. We decided to go to a Garden Centre and what would usually take us 20 mins to get there ended up taking twice as long!

My granddaughter is camping in the Brecon Beacons with her classmates at the moment, we've heard no news from the school so I'm assuming they are all ok. I certainly don't envy them sleeping in tents in this awful weather

Re: Stormy Aberdeen today

Oh my gosh, now I lived through a couple of storms when I lived in Aberdeen, used to love driving up to the Torry battery to watch the sea, but NEVER saw anything like those. Utterly unbelievable. And hard to believe there have been no deaths, let's hope it remains so.
