warning, contains a Squirrel

i put the warning on the title as i remember our dear friend, Eileen hated Squirrels and i don't know if anyone else does.
This year there is apparently a shortage of Acorns and consequently we have been seeing a lot of this little creature. Today i noticed him stuffing his face with peanuts and burying them in various locations on the lawn. Each time he returned to the patio he sat on the stone rabbit ornament before jumping onto the bird table.I have shot a short video but can't work out how to post it yet.

Brilliant shots of him leaping Shelley. Yes, I'd heard about the acorn shortage - there certainly are none on the trees around here. I am planning a buy in of extra food for the birds and the squirrels soon.

Angie, the nursery staff where i work needed Acorns etc to show to the children. Whilst in Scotland i tried to find Acorns, to no avail. I have looked localy and only managed to find about five.

It's not strange that you mentioned Eileen and her hatred of "the spawn of Satan" - I mentioned Eileen recently in connection with Tiggermoon's thread on catnip and she has been in my thoughts a lot lately because I miss knowing what the weather's doing in Washington DC amongst other things.
