Re: Daily Shread/Thread Thursday 13th April

Morning all,

Fairly "nothing" day today regarding the weather. Half day at work then at home with the children now and then its four days off work for me!

I don't know why the approach of Easter passed me by (oh, yes I do - but that's another story). Anyway - went into Tesco this morning. OMG - you'd think the shops were going to close for a fortnight the way people were shopping. Snarl-ups at the fruit& veg and dairy sections. Queues at the checkout
Fortunately everyone was in reasonable mood - no trolley rage

Mental note to self...........don't shop on the day before a Bank Holiday.

Re: Daily Shread/Thread Thursday 13th April

Hello all,

Tired today, and wanting to spend the day in bed! But no such luck, although I did get a 3-hour nap. I've gotten enormously behind on laundry and ended up washing the same clothes over and over for a few weeks when I was a lot worse, so I'm now playing catch-up.

hahahaha I had exactly the same thoughts when I popped into Tescos on my way home today (got there about 4.30) I thought hmm there is a lot of people in here??? (they are only closed on the Sunday I think) luckily I only had a basket of food.

Well I am glad I have no work for 4 days, I have got some DIY to do and loads of gardening which I am really looking forward to

Have a great Easter everybody
