toilet training

I remember a post being up before about one of themembers training their cat to use the toilet. I was wondering how that went or is going? Im picking up a training kit from my frined tomorrow who has trained her cat to go in there so i can try it with my 2. Harris has a natural nosyness when we are in teh bathroom, skye im not too sure how it will go but going to try it anyway. Any suggestions as to how to start it off?

Re: toilet training

Dinahsmum kept a diary of her attempt at toilet training her cats and her efforts were successful.

Here's the link from five years ago, I hope you find it helpful

Re: toilet training

I'd forgotten that thread. I miss DM, she's busy with the grandbaby and rarely posts on OFF either ...

Re: toilet training

speaking of toilets. I've just got a modkat http://www.modkat.com/products/modkat-litter-box

VERY expensive for a litter tray, and I was loathed to buy it, but it is really good. Marmaduke is a flicker and gets litter everywhere, but since having this there is no litter on the floor. I'm tempted to get one for Chloe but she's not as bad.
