Re: Think I might go......

I have been thinking long and hard about offering to take Obi on. I need to make sure that Milly and Rayne will be fine with him, also G said NO, as he always does but that wont phase me once I have made up my mind.
Obi hasn't been reserved by any one else yet, so we'll see....

In retrospect and being honest even though I know you are a good home for Obi. I am not sure I would take him on. I do hope he finds a good home though.

Re: Think I might go......

See that's kinda where I am, I don't just want to take him coz I feel sorry for him, then only to make him or my existing animals miserable.
I had kinda decided not to take anything else on until I get out of this flat and out of the city centre.....

Then stick with that thought.

I have to say I saw cats/kittens a plenty after Cleo was PTS but I did not take one on because it was not a suitable time.
Same as when we lost Tess and just had Sal and the cats I decided it would always be 1 dog from me now.
Then Sal went and we got Bella because both the dog and the time was right for us, and we will stick to one dog from now on.

Maybe next time a cat but as Bella is not a cat dog no cats with Bella.

You have to look at the bigger picture and the follow on. That's one of the main reasons animals end up without homes in the first place. Or worse stuck in the wrong homes and everyone is miserable.

Yes, you have to take a realistic view and not be sentimental about a poor animal, however needy. We won't take on any further animals now ...... two people, two cats, two dogs ...... 20 legs is plenty.
