Digital camera

I am thinking of getting my 7 year old g/daughter a digital camera either for her birthday or for Christmas.

This will be a first camera for her so I'm looking for something very easy for a child to use.

Can anyone suggest an easy to use, not too expensive camera that would suit her?

Re: Digital camera

Thanks for those links Moli, the Argos link shows a good selection of reasonably priced cameras for a child. I bet she would love a pink one!!!!

It's knowing which one to go for though.......... has anyone any experience or knowledge about any of these?

Re: Digital camera

I wanted a simple point-and-shoot camera without a lot of fancy bells and whistles and am very satisfied with my Nikon L2 Coolpix. It's not expensive and I'm sure a child would have no problems using it. Don't believe it comes in pink, though!
